Rapidshare Sucks

As of 10/1/2010, Rapidshare changed their site design to incorporate a boy figure which is very "In Your Face" trying to get you to pay to download files.

And let's not forget, all files / content on Rapidshare's site were uploaded by people who wanted to share their files for free with other people. These files / content were given to Rapidshare at no cost to them.

Instead of trying to charge people they could use ads to make money like many other file sharing sites.

It was bad enough when they had the Fast & Slow meters and linited the number of downloads you are allowed a day (per IP address), but this kid figure is TOO MUCH and I find it extremely annoying.

There are lot's of other file sharing sites, like Megaupload, Filefactory, etc, and their download speeds are a LOT faster.

Rapidshare is by far the most aggressive in trying to get money out of anyone who downloads files from their site. They do everything poss bile to make free users uncomfortable and inconvenienced.

As of 11/15/10, Rapidshare began requiring everyone who tries to download a file to Register for a "free account". This will result in preventing people from using different IP's so people won't be able to get around RapidShare's download limit.

RapidShare can take their site and shove it. It's time to Boycott Rapidshare and stop uploading files to their site.
